Customer-Driven Quality Assured Industries, Inc. takes pride in our ability to keep our customers satisfied by providing services that are not only excellent quality but also on-time and to the required specifications.  We welcome input from our customers.  Our Account Manager and Director of Quality regularly visit our customers to discuss their needs and wants so that we can optimize the services that we provide.  If we only give attention to our satisfied and loyal customers, our organization would be led astray.  The most successful organizations monitor customers who are not satisfied and strive to meet their demands. Continuous Improvement and Learning The most potent value is continuous improvement and learning.  Assured Industries, Inc. creates a culture that seeks to evaluate and improve everything we do.  A culture of continuous improvement is essential to maintaining and sustaining a true competitive advantage.  Without systematic improvement and ongoing learning, we would eventually face extinction.  With continuous improvement, however, time becomes our ally.  As time passes, Assured Industries, Inc. becomes stronger and stronger. Management by Fact Management by fact is the cornerstone for Assured Industries, Inc.'s effective planning, operational decision-making, employee involvement and leadership.  People make decisions every day.  Without accurate data, however, the basis for decision-making is intuition or gut feelings.  For instance, most drivers decide when to fill their fuel tanks based on data from their fuel gauge and they become very uncomfortable if their gauge is broken.  Yet people routinely make decisions of enormous consequence about customers, strategies, goals and employees with little or no data.  This is a recipe for disaster, not one for ensuring optimization.  The failure to obtain the right data and thoroughly train people to use it for effective decision making could stand in the way of the next value. Employee Participation and Development In high-performing organizations, the people who do the work should make the decisions about how the work is done.  A significant barrier exists, however, that limits employee decision-making access to data and inaccurate data based decision-making skills.  Leaders are unwilling to let subordinates make decisions based on intuition; they reserve those types of decisions for themselves.  Therefore, access to data and developing skills to manage by fact are prerequisites for optimizing employee contributions to our success.  Organizations cannot effectively move decision making to the level where most of the work is done unless those doing the work have access to the necessary data and are skilled at making fact-based decisions.  At Assured Industries, Inc. we strive to maintain a high level of this type of effectiveness. Fast Response Fast response is usually driven by customer requirements and the desire to improve operating efficiency as well as lower costs.  Organizations that develop the capacity to respond faster by eliminating barriers, activities and tasks that do not add value will often increase their productivity, lower their costs, and have more customers that are loyal.  Analyzing and improving work processes enables Assured Industries, Inc. to perform better, faster, and cheaper.  To improve the work process, we focus on improving design quality and preventing problems.  The cost of preventing problems and building quality into our products and services is significantly less than the costs of taking corrective action later. Long-Range View of the Future To remain competitive, Assured Industries, Inc. is guided by a set of measurable goals and a long-range view of our future.  These measurable goals, which emerge from our strategic planning process, serve to align the work of everyone in the organization.  Measurable goals allow everyone to know where they are going and alert them when they deviate from their path.  Without measurable goals, people will still work hard, but they go in different directions, diminishing the success of our organization. Internal and External Partnership Development Achieving long-range goals is increasingly difficult without internal and external partnership development.  Internal partnership with employees, and others as appropriate, need to be created and strengthened.  External alliances and strategic partnerships are key to enhancing overall capabilities quickly.  Such partnerships allow Assured Industries, Inc. to think strategically about maximizing performance for our customers. Corporate Responsibility and Citizenship Assured Industries, Inc. practices good corporate responsibility and citizenship.  We determine and anticipate any adverse effects to the public as a result of our products, services or facilities.  Failure to do so not only undermines public trust and distracts employees, but also can negatively affect the bottom line.  Additionally, Assured Industries, Inc. meet safety and legal requirements beyond mere compliance.
